Frequently asked questions
Your questions, answered honestly.
Surfaces, drying time, coverage, and what this sealant can and can't fix.
What can I use this on?
Roof cracks, water tank seams, bathroom and tile joints, pipe collars, window frames, gutters and wall seepage. It bonds to concrete, brick, tile, marble, stone, wood, metal and PVC.
Will it stop a leak that's currently running?
No. The surface has to be dry before you apply it. Shut off the water, let the area dry completely, then seal.
Applying over wet or damp concrete is the single most common reason a repair fails — the sealant can't bond properly and it lifts later.
How long before it's waterproof?
Surface-dry in about 30 minutes, but leave it a full 24 hours before exposing it to water. Cold or humid weather slows this down, so give it longer in winter.
Will it show on the surface?
It cures clear, so on tile, marble and window frames the repair stays discreet. On dark or high-gloss surfaces a faint sheen can remain where it was applied.
How much area does one jar cover?
It depends on how porous the surface is and how wide the cracks are. Smooth tile and metal use very little; rough concrete absorbs a lot more.
For patching a few cracks or joints, one 300g jar is plenty. For a full rooftop, plan on two.
Can I paint over it?
Yes, once it has fully cured for 24 hours. Test a small patch first — some emulsion paints don't grip well on a smooth sealed surface.
